2019 Young Builder of the Year Awards

It’s always nice to see the hard work of our employees and scaffolding specialists recognised by some of the biggest names in the industry! Check-It Scaffold Services Ltd are delighted to announce that one of our brightest employees, Jordan Pollock, has been chosen as one of the finalists for the 2019 Young Builder of the Year Award!

Along with the 19 other finalists, Jordan has been invited to visit the House of Commons, where the winner will be announced on Wednesday 16th October, 2019.

Here at Check-It, we couldn’t be prouder of Jordan’s nomination! Since joining in 2017, he’s quickly become an invaluable member of the Check-It family. His hard work and determination has helped us to complete dozens of projects requiring scaffolding in Edinburgh, Glasgow and across Lanarkshire.

2019 Young Builder of the Year Finalist!

Jordan Pollock was first introduced to the Check-It Scaffolding team in March 2017 through Cala Homes, in partnership with the Prince’s Trust Work Placement Programme. After being selected to join the Check-It team, he began to work alongside our scaffolders in Glasgow and Edinburgh in May, 2017.

Shortly after joining the Check-It family, he secured a placement on the CITB apprenticeship programme. In January 2019, after a lot of hard work and dedication, Jordan Pollock finally registered as a fully-qualified CISRS Scaffolder!

Good Luck Jordan!

This is a major achievement for Jordan and, here at Check-It, we’re immensely proud of his progression! No one deserves to win the 2019 Young Builder of the Year more than Jordan, and the entire team at Check-It couldn’t be prouder!

We’re all keeping our fingers crossed, so good luck Jordan! We’re extremely proud to have you working as part of our scaffolding team in Lanarkshire, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
